The Tattered King
American born and educated actor with the RSC
Born and raised in Cambridge, MA, Daniel had a love of adventure novels and would often recreated the epic battle within. From Robin Hood’s defeat of the evil Sheriff of Nottingham to the grand battle of Troy Daniel longed to live these heroic battles that he could only read about. Sensing his creative desires, Daniel’s parents Richard and Margaret took him to see a traveling production of Romeo and Juliet for his 12th birthday. From that moment on Daniel was determined to be an actor and perform in some of the greatest plays ever written.
Daniel immersed himself into the study of theater, it’s craft, it’s writers and the adventure it could bring. Fencing, languages, poetry and athleticism became Daniel’s life. After attending Miskatonic University where he earned his Master’s Degree in Acting Daniel set off to make his mark in the theater. Becoming and instant success Daniel never connected his experiences at MU with his meteoric rise in the world of theater, but a recent production of MacBeth and his invitation to become a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, a rarity for an American born actor, brought some of those late night rehearsals back in to sharp focus.
Now what was once a dream come true has slowly become a living nightmare as dreams and visions once thought put to rest are now flooding back. Daniel can only hope that the contacts he made at the Cabalistic Order of the Crescent Moon can help find the source of these nightmares and put them to rest once and for all.
